Ok, so you have all the materials, your workspace is ready, dyes
waiting to be used and your eggs are at room temperature. This is your
first egg and you can't wait to get started. Your first design is
elegantly simple, taken from a Ukrainian Design Booklet, World
of Pysanky by the National Museum in Lviv The curls
or ram's horns represent strength and the pine boughs everlasting
life. I like it for beginners because its as simple as you can get
for a pysanky design. It builds confidence and people can walk away with
something nice enough to be proud of. The time invested is small
compared to more complicated designs. Don't feel guilty if you want to
chuck it in the trash and start over half way through. Plan for about
60 to 90 minutes to do this design. So without further delay, lets get
started.
