Hutsul Hand Loomed Wool Rugs from Western Ukraine

Master rug maker Maria Petrivna Havrylkiw was born in 1953. After the completion of school, she went to work at a artistic factory "Hutstulshyna", where she established a reputation as a young and capable worker. While still very young, she became a master in the rugs department.The name of Maria Petrivna was always on the Board of Honour at the factory. All her life, she devoted herself to the Hutsul people and to the production of very beautiful Hutsul rugs. Each one is handmade in the traditional way and each one is a special small masterpiece, where she has placed a small part of her soul. Authentic wool rugs handmade on a loom in Western Ukraine. Traditional Hutsul designs and colors.
