Delrin Kistka with Machined Brass Tip
These are not the kistky you will find in Ukraine. Before the
age
of plastics, the traditional kistka was more often used. It has a
wood handle and a rolled metal cup to hold the beeswax. However,
before you decide to go entirely traditional, please consider these
modern
marvels of the space age. They are quite easy for the beginner to
manage,
and to obtain good results with a minimum amount of frustration. The
tips
are made of brass, and they heat evenly. The hole in the tip is very
uniform
and holds it shape during normal use. The handles are made of a heat
resistant
plastic called Delrin.
